Spanish Linguistics Minor in AU Bulletin

Spanish Linguistics Minor This minor has two required courses and a menu of courses to allow students flexibility in specific topics within the field. Students must earn at least a "C" in all courses counting for the minor.

All students will take the following (7 hours):
FLSP 2020Intermediate Spanish II *4
ENGL 3110Survey of Linguistics3
Students must choose three of the following courses (9 hours):9
Spanish Phonetics
Spanish Syntax
Directed Study in Spanish
Spanish Linguistics
Topics in Hispanic Literature and Culture
Advanced Spanish Phonetics
Advanced Spanish Syntax
Total Hours16

Students majoring in Spanish, Spanish International Trade, International Business Spanish, and Foreign Language Education Spanish are required to take FLSP 2020 for those majors and thus will need to replace this required course by completing 4 courses from the menu of courses above which are not required courses for their major.
