Undergraduate Sociology Scholarships
The Sociology Program offers a number of scholarships for undergraduates. Apply through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM). AUSOM allows you to search, review requirements, apply, and accept awards for available scholarship opportunities.
Sociology scholarships include:
Millard E. Dawson Endowed Scholarship for Law Enforcement: open to any Liberal Arts major, preference for a sociology major, must have a minimum GPA 3.0 and financial need.
Mohan Family Endowed Scholarship in Sociology: Must be a recipient of the Spirit of Auburn scholarship.
Manju Mohan Memorial Endowed Scholarship: Must be a junior or senior enrolled in sociology, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be actively involved in community service activities and plan to pursue a post-graduate career in teaching, non-profit employment, community activism, medicine, law, or science and technology or a related field that would promote respect for social diversity, and/or advocacy for the underprivileged.
Elizabeth and Ernest Edgar Endowed Scholarship Award: Must be a recipient of the Spirit of Auburn scholarship.
