The Auburn University Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) degree program has been continuously accredited by the Council on Social Work Education since 1978, and the Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program received full accreditation in February 2020 retroactive to 2017.

As stated in the National Association of Social Workers Code and Ethics and consistent with the Auburn University Equal Opportunity Policy, the social work administration, faculty and staff:
