A minor in global cultures provides you with cultural awareness and intercultural competence. It strengthens your international skills and understanding of diversity, which will help you succeed in an increasingly global world.
Students must take 15 semester hours with a minimum of 9 hours at the 3000 level or above.
Students take a sequence of two language skills courses at the 2000 or 3000 level and three supporting courses (see advisor for approved course listing).
Students must earn a C and maintain a 2.5 GPA for all courses that count toward the minor. Courses taken in fulfillment of the College Core or other majors and minors may not be counted toward the Global Cultures minor.
