Entering a graduate program when most interactions occur over Zoom or behind a mask makes for a challenging time for graduate students and faculty alike. To accommodate some face-to-face socializing the Department of History is scheduling weekly, safe and socially distanced, “Taking the Air” walks. In the spirit of the Victorian-era belief in the health benefits of fresh air and country strolls, and adhering to our current safety protocols of six feet of distance and facial coverings, graduate students and faculty are invited to “Take the Air” for a walkabout campus.
