With your history degree, you'll find success in a variety of areas like education, archives, museums, government and publishing houses. A degree in history, with its emphasis on research skills, critical thinking and communication skills, is also excellent preparation for employment in law, business, journalism and public service. In fact, those with history degrees are among the highest earners in the humanities and liberal arts.
