Dr. Brown's research interests include the prevention and treatment of body image and eating disorders, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ folks, gender differences and the brain-body relationship (interoception).

Dr. Correia's research focuses on substance use and addictions, with special emphasis on behavioral pharmacology, cognitive and motivational models, brief interventions, and risk factors associated with problematic use.

Dr. Shapiro's research interests include the description, assessment, and functional impact of problems associated with ADHD, executive functioning, and sluggish cognitive tempo in children, adolescents, and young adults.
April Smith

Dr. Smith's research examines how biological and psychological risk factors contribute to disordered eating and suicidal behavior. Additionally, Dr. Smith's research explores the high rates of suicidality and self-injury among individuals with eating disorders.
Jennifer Somers

Dr. Somer's research focuses on biobehavioral processes that unfold during parent-child dyadic interactions and influence risk for depression and anxiety, for both members of the dyad.
Tracy Witte

Dr. Witte's research is broadly focused on suicidal behavior, with particular interests in the biological, personality, and psychological risk factors that distinguish ideators from attempters, suicide risk assessment, and public perceptions of suicidal behavior.
