Description: The Child Language Lab is focused on the study of language development and disorders in children from birth through adolescence. A primary aim of the lab is to examine the relationship between language and diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, and prematurity. In addition, the Child Language Lab seeks to investigate other areas relevant to the lives of children and adolescents with communication disorders and their families, such as bullying and the contributing factors to the development of positive therapeutic relationships.
