We work on many initiatives that keep with our mission to provide high-quality education to our students and advocate for individuals with communication and hearing needs.
Current initiatives include:
- Auburn Rural Healthcare initiative to provide services in Chambers County, AL. Our goal is to expand these services to other rural communities who do not have access to speech, language and hearing services through the acquisition of a mobile speech and hearing clinic.
- Update the Auburn University Speech and Hearing Clinic facility by creating a sensory space. This space will help many of our clients like autistic children and those with vestibular disorders, who need or would benefit from increased sensory engagement during their evaluations or treatment sessions.
