College of Liberal Arts launches new study abroad program in Rome

The College of Liberal Arts (CLA) is excited to introduce CLA in Rome, a dynamic new study abroad program launching in summer 2026. This immersive experience invites students to explore one of the world’s most historic and culturally rich cities while earning university core credits.
Students in the program will have the opportunity to walk the ancient streets of the Eternal City, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Guided by local experts, these excursions bring the stories of ancient Rome vividly to life. Beyond the classroom, the program encourages personal growth and global perspective as students navigate the rhythms of daily life in a world-renowned urban setting.
A faculty member from the College of Liberal Arts will lead the program onsite, providing academic support and mentorship throughout the experience. The curriculum offers core course options and is open to students of all majors. No foreign language skills are required. Participants can choose to earn between 6 and 12 credits through either a full summer term or two half-term options.
Space is limited, so students are encouraged to apply early to secure their spot.
