Caring for animals is emotionally powerful, both at home and in the hospital. Social work alumna Marianna Spiotta, LMSW, works each day to support the needs of the clients and health care team of Auburn University’s veterinary teaching hospitals.
On the night of Sept. 11, 2001, Brian Pultro joined the Navy. He completed Auburn’s ROTC program, earned a political science degree and went on to serve for 11 years.
College of Liberal Arts alumna Michelle Roberts double-majored in Anthropology and Political Science with a minor in Spanish while at Auburn. As a PhD student at the University of Kentucky, she’s applying all those skills to study health care in rural Appalachia.
