Ticket Information

Tickets are available online for all patrons, including students and community members. We have made a couple of changes this year, so check out the information below.

Orange outlined illustration of a theatre stage and seats General Admission

All seats, including in the Telfair Peet Mainstage auditorium, are now General Admission seating. Just like previous shows in the Black Box theatre, all seats are open on the night of performance on a first come, first served basis. This means you will not need to reserve specific seat numbers online, and you have a chance at a great seat even if you purchase your ticket close to the performance date. We typically open the house 30 minutes prior to showtime, so the earlier you arrive, the more options you have for your seat of choice!

Auburn students can attend all of our shows FREE! This season, there are two methods for students to claim free tickets, depending upon the venue.

Telfair Peet BLACK BOX Shows

Students will not be able to reserve free tickets for black box productions in advance. Instead, an ample number of student rush tickets will be available for each performance. Students can arrive at the box office to get your name on the student rush ticket list as early as 6:30pm (before 7:30pm performances) or 1:30pm (before 2:30pm matinees). Tickets will begin to be released for students at 6:45pm for evening performances and at 1:45pm for matinee performances.

Telfair Peet MAINSTAGE Shows

Students can reserve tickets for mainstage productions in advance using the method detailed below.

We have a new, more user-friendly online ticketing system this year! Here are some detailed instructions for how to use it.

Purchasing Your Tickets

  • Click on any "Buy Tickets" link on our website or go to aub.ie/theatretickets.
  • At the top of the page, you will see Log In / Register.
You will see two options: Auburn Student/Faculty/Staff and General Public.
    • Auburn Student/Faculty/Staff will sign in using their AU credentials. When you log in for the first time, you will be directed to complete your patron profile.
    • Members of the General Public will need to choose “Register” if it is your first time on our ticketing site and then complete a patron profile. Thereafter, you will be able to select “Log In.”
    • NOTE: The AU Department of Music and AU Theatre & Dance share a ticketing platform. You will use a single sign on to purchase tickets for both units. You will NOT need to create two separate profiles.
  • Once logged in, navigate to the event you wish to attend & select the number of tickets.
  • If you wish to purchase a season subscription, look for the Theatre and Dance Subscription link at the top left of the page on desktop (or in the dropdown menu on mobile). From there, choose Subscribe and follow onscreen instructions for picking your shows.
  • Enter payment information, pay, and checkout. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
