Scholarships and Forms
The Health Administration Program offers three academic scholarships:
- The Health Administration Scholarship Award
Established in 1981, this award is given each year to a junior in HA who has at least a 3.0 cumulative average GPA, and who will not be receiving any other University scholarship aid during the academic year of the HA Scholarship Award.
- The Mark Burns – Health Administration Alumni Scholarship Award
This scholarship is given each year to an Auburn University junior or senior student who has a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale, exhibits a financial need, and is a declared Health Administration major. Other criteria include involvement in health administration activities and evidence of leadership. If a student with financial need cannot be identified, the financial need criterion may be waived. Prior recipients are not disqualified from consideration for this scholarship during subsequent years.
- MGMA Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a current HADM major who has at least a 3.0 HADM cumulative GPA and is interested in pursuing a career in clinic management. Recipients of the MGMA scholarship award must complete their internship at an approved clinic site or physician practice.
Students may apply for any or all three of these by visiting the AUSOM webpage http://www.auburn.edu/scholarship/ausom/.
