A group of respected industry leaders, known as the HADM Advisory Council, guide Auburn University’s Health Administration program. The purpose of the Advisory Council is to:
- Create connections with other leaders in the field who wish to contribute to the development of students
- Expand awareness of Auburn’s HADM program through proactive engagement and outreach
- Help shape the program curriculum and other educational initiatives
- Promote collaboration among industry executives, faculty and alumni
To accomplish this purpose, members of the Advisory Council:
- Keep track of industry trends and the skills most sought by healthcare employers
- Take part in networking events as mentors, guest lecturers and adjunct faculty
- Identify learning opportunities, like student projects, internships and residency sites
