Auburn University has several ways to report incidents of racism and sexual harassment. The School of Communication and Journalism encourages students to report all incidents.

Auburn University Bias Education and Response Team (BERT)

The School of Communication and Journalism supports Auburn University’s Bias Education and Response Team (BERT). The Bias Education and Response Team (BERT) consists of a cross-disciplinary group of staff and faculty who ensure students, faculty and staff have the means to report bias incidents, share information about incidents reported to the BERT, and advocate for prevention and awareness programs. BERT members will also connect those impacted by bias-related incidents with immediate and ongoing support resources.

Title IX Sexual Misconduct & Harassment

Auburn University is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment on the basis of sex, which includes all forms of sexual misconduct. The Title IX website provides comprehensive information resources and support for students, faculty and staff, including how to report incidents of discrimination, harassment or gender-based misconduct.
