The social media intern is responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, and assisting the Auburn Chamber team with brainstorming campaigns. Help Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin. Create shareable content that is in line with our social media strategy. Monitor and measure growth of follower count across digital channels. Brainstorm campaign ideas to engage audiences. Create video reels to engage audience and other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience: The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, manage time well, work both independently and in a team environment, and should possess a positive demeanor with the ability to be kind and provide a high level of customer service. Candidates should also be a problem solver, should be proficient in programs within the Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media platforms (specifically Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn), and have a working knowledge or be willing to learn creative programs such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
