Lee will teach a course on the style and practice of popular music, assist ensembles on jazz and contemporary American music and conduct outreach programming with the Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities.
As part of the upcoming Inclusive Excellence Conference, the College of Liberal Arts will host a panel discussion featuring descendants of the Clotilda.
The lecture, titled “Moving the Needle: What tight labor markets do for the poor,” will address the question, “What happens when jobs are plentiful, and workers are hard to come by?”
