Sociology professor finds creative ways to communicate information

Assistant professor of sociology Makeela Wells was recently featured in Adobe Blog for her use of Adobe tools in her classroom. Wells encourages her students to use Express to create engaging infographics to educate and inform the public. An infographic is a form of visual communication meant to capture attention and enhance comprehension and has become a widely used way to communicate data and information.

“I looked at many options for creating infographics, and Express is the easiest to use,” says Wells. “There are a lot of tutorials through the I&RC, and the wider Adobe community is there to help students think about more creative ways to communicate information.”

Auburn was the first SEC school to become an Adobe Creative Campus.
