Auburn’s Industrial/Organizational Psychology master’s ranked nation’s best by Forbes

The College of Liberal Arts’ Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology is number one in the country, according to Forbes’ list of the best online master’s in organizational psychology of 2025.
Forbes chose the Auburn I/O program for its asynchronous schedule, meaning students can complete courses at their own pace; its value for out-of-state students, who pay the same in tuition as in-state students; and its median alumni earnings, which amount to more than $65,000.
I/O Psychology focuses on understanding, predicting and modifying behavior in organizational settings and work environments to address individual, organizational and group/team challenges. The online Master of Science in I/O Psychology is designed to train students with the knowledge and skills to become I/O practitioners in applied settings.
