Britney Ball receives prestigious National Hearing Conservation Association conference award

Britney Ball, an audiology doctoral candidate in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts, has been selected as a recipient of the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) Student Conference Award. This distinguished recognition highlights Britney’s dedication to hearing conservation and her potential as a future leader in the field.
The NHCA Student Conference Award supports student attendance at the Annual NHCA Conference, a key event that fosters professional development, networking and leadership growth in hearing conservation. As an award recipient, Britney will receive a paid annual student membership, conference registration fees covered, and up to $1,000 in travel reimbursement to attend the upcoming conference.
This competitive award is made possible by generous donations from NHCA members and sponsors. To qualify, students must be actively pursuing a graduate degree in a hearing conservation-related discipline, be enrolled at least half-time, and have completed at least two semesters of graduate coursework. Applicants submit a compelling personal statement of interest and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
