Goals of the CLA Strategic Initiatives and Programs Council
Members of the Strategic Initiatives and Programs Council work to prepare students to participate productively in an increasingly globalized environment. To this end, we create and support programs within the College of Liberal Arts that are designed to promote a sense of belonging and an environment of academic excellence.
Our goals include:
- Build a campus community that values and supports domestic and international immersive learning experiences.
- Support CLA recruitment and admissions staff to recruit and retain students.
- Support first generation students.
- Support student organizations to build a strong sense of community among our student body.
