About Me

Nadia Bhuiyan is an associate clinical faculty member at Auburn University, where she serves as the director of the Auburn University Psychological Services Clinic (AUPSC). Bhuiyan received a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University and a PhD in clinical and health psychology from the University of Florida. After completing an internship in clinical child and pediatric psychology at the University of Florida Health Science Center, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Emory University School of Medicine within the clinical assessments and diagnostics team at Marcus Autism Center and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Most recently, Bhuiyan has sought extensive experience and expertise in disorders of early childhood and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She has spent the last several years conducting developmental, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational assessments, as well as individual and family therapy with individuals presenting with a range of psychological, developmental, and medical symptomatology. As part of her graduate and internship training, she also sought experience providing specialized and evidence-based therapies such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) within inpatient and outpatient settings.
