POLI 4940
Law and Justice (LAWJ) majors are eligible for placement in POLI 4940, an internship course in which students may earn three (120 hours on site) to six (210 hours on-site) hours of academic credit. In addition to working the minimum number of hours onsite, interns must complete assignments throughout the semester. A grade of satisfactory (passing) or unsatisfactory (failing) will be assigned, based on the satisfactory completion of all assignments, and a positive evaluation provided by the preceptor at the end of the semester. If you are interested in interning with a law firm, corporation (legal division) or government office in Auburn/Opelika, Montgomery, Birmingham, Atlanta, Washington DC, or your hometown, please contact Ms. Armstrong-Wright at dza0011@auburn.edu or Professor Jacqueline Smoke at jcs0235@auburn.edu.
Lee County Circuit Clerk’s Office

If you are interested in interning at one of the locations, please contact Ms. Armstrong-Wright at dza0011@auburn.edu or Jacqueline Smoke at jcs0235@auburn.edu well in advance.
