About David deBruijn

Dr. de Bruijn holds philosophy degrees from the University of Cambridge and the University of Pittsburgh, where he concentrated primarily on German rationalism from Leibniz to Kant and contemporary questions in the philosophy of perception. Dr. de Bruijn's PhD dissertation “Experiential Self-Consciousness”, written under the supervision of Stephen Engstrom and John McDowell, argues for an important role for self-awareness in the nature of perceptual representation.
