Social Work class hosting Community Conversations series

 

Community Conversations

 

During October, assistant clinical professor Shakita Jones and students from her Social Work Methods III class are hosting the series "Community Engagement Conversations" which is open to the public. The events are free and registration is required.

Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 4 pm:  "From Playgrounds to Prisons: a discussion about the school to prison pipeline." Register at https://bit.ly/2RSKXcQ

Monday, Oct. 26 at 3 pm: "A Coaching Approach to Policing: a discussion exploring the training of police officers and their engagement wtih the communities they serve. Register at https://bit.ly/3kvJo0G
