Which class has been your favorite at Auburn so far?
My favorite class would be the Intro to Psychology course I took freshman year. This class not only piqued my interest, but it also spurred me to change my major. Moreover, it blessed me with an entirely new set of career/professional goals!
What is the best technology-based resource at Auburn?
Seeing as though my extracurricular lab work relies heavily on published literature, I would say the best technology-based resource is the online library database. With the search of a few key words, this database grants you access to hundreds of articles--a feature that mitigates some of the stress surrounding a daunting research project!
What do you wish someone had told you before you started as a student at Auburn?
I wish someone would have told me that it's totally okay to be clueless. It's okay to be clueless during a classroom lecture or when asked about your professional career goals. What matters is how you address that cluelessness and gain a more complete understanding of whatever it is you're struggling with.
Where are your favorite places to study on campus?
You can never go wrong with the library. Panera is definitely a blessing in disguise when it hits nine o'clock and you need some coffee to finish up that assignment due at midnight!
How do you balance your social and academic obligations?
For me, it all comes down to two things: prioritization and organization. I look at everything that's due for the week and/or absolutely mandatory, then I fill in my schedule with more relaxing, down-time activities.
