Where are your favorite places to study on campus?
My favorite place to study is the new Mell building — I always try to snag a booth! Otherwise, I prefer getting a room in the library. I learn primarily through writing and talking about a subject with people, so the study rooms are a great resource for me. I also like going to the involvement suite during finals and midterms.

What tips would you give a student about registration?
Don't Stress! You’re going to get the classes you need it may just not be when you want it. We have great advisors that will help you through everything step-by-step, so never feel like you’re on your own. Also, take a look at tiger scheduler, its super helpful. And when it is time to register, make sure to have your CRNS (with maybe a few backups) ready to go!

How did you choose your major?
I was originally a business major, but quickly decided that I wanted something more personable — so when I came across political science, I knew it was for me. The smaller class sizes were great for getting to know people and building meaningful relationships with professors and other students
in my major. I definitely found my place in CLA.

Which organizations do you participate in as a student?
I have had the opportunity to be involved with several organizations while at Auburn. My freshman year I was part of a Freshman Leadership Program, an organization that went on to be replaced by Emerge. I joined SGA in Campus Outreach, and later, Schools Council. My junior year I had the privilege
of working with the International Buddy Program, and as a Camp War Eagle Counselor as well. Now I am a member of the Environmental Action Committee, a new student organization aimed at promoting conservation and sustainability in and around Auburn.

What are your career plans after college?
I am currently studying for the LSAT and exploring law schools for next fall. As someone who is very passionate about the environment, I one-day hope to work to protect and uphold polices that will promote accountability and sustainable practices.
