Auburn Aviation program featured in new national commercial: "THINK AUBURN"

The “Think Auburn” national campaign highlights many outstanding programs that have significantly grown and deserve recognition, including Auburn University’s Aviation program

Auburn’s Aviation program is one of the country’s oldest university flight programs. Aviation’s recent transfer to the College of Liberal Arts strengthens its degree programs by allowing students to spend more time on aviation-related coursework and flying, and it consolidates aviation resources and management functions in the new Department of Aviation. 

Auburn is also one of eight institutions selected for the Delta Pilot Propel Program, which offers a defined, accelerated path for qualified candidates to earn their flight certifications, build their experience and meet requirements to become a Delta pilot.

The substantial growth of the Aviation program is quantifiable, seeing the program boasting close to 500 declared aviation students in the fall. A 23,000-square-foot Delta Air Lines Aviation Building, which includes enhanced classrooms, debriefing rooms for student pilots and flight simulators, and an Airbus 320 commercial airline simulator, proves the improved quality of this academic program.
