Department of Political Science graduate programs announce annual award recipients
The Department of Political Science is pleased to announce the recipients of two prestigious annual awards: the Robert Sabin Montjoy Award for Outstanding MPA Student and the Heilman-Johnson Award for Outstanding Ph.D. Student in Public Administration & Public Policy.
The Robert Sabin Montjoy Award for Outstanding MPA Student honors an Auburn University Master of Public Administration student who demonstrates academic excellence and a strong commitment to the practice and values of public service. This year’s recipient is Abbey Crank.
The Heilman-Johnson Award for Outstanding Ph.D. Student in Public Administration & Public Policy recognizes an Auburn University Ph.D. student who excels in scholarship, teaching, outreach and service. This year’s recipient is Steven McKnight.
We extend our sincere congratulations to Abbey and Steven for their outstanding achievements. Their names will be added to commemorative plaques displayed in the Public Administration and Policy Suite in Haley Center. Each will also receive an engraved award in recognition of their accomplishment. These awards are given annually, with new recipients added to the plaques each year.
