Tyler Olsson is interested in questions that lie at the intersection of philosophy of mind, epistemology, and value theory, especially as they concern the relationship between concepts, perception, affects/emotions, and judgment, broadly construed. He is also interested in how Kant's and Heidegger's philosophy can be applied to such issues, specifically when considering Kant's views of the imagination and the role that the third Critique plays in his theory of cognition, and how Heidegger's early philosophical system adapts a range of these insights. He is also interested in the work of Sellars and McDowell.
