About Me
Steven K. Shapiro received his BS in psychology from the University of Rhode Island and his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Miami. He completed an internship in clinical child/pediatric psychology at Duke University Medical Center.
Shapiro is an associate professor of psychology at Auburn University, where he has been since 1990. He served as the director of clinical training from 2005 to 2014. His professional and research activities focus on ADHD, “sluggish cognitive tempo,” executive dysfunction, and learning disorders.
