About Me

Ms. Miller has taught social work curriculum since 2018 and is an adjunct professor in the Social Work Program. She teaches Introduction to Social Work and History of Social Welfare. She has 7 years of experience in child welfare where she investigated child abuse and neglect for the State of Alabama. She has worked with individuals, couples and families providing psychotherapy for more than 10 years, at both UAB and in the private practice setting. She has worked with Veterans and their families at the VA since 2022 providing psychotherapy and clinical support.
