Russ Chesser is a lecturer in the School of Aviation and teaches Aviation Maintenance Management 3600. Prior to his current role, Russ served in the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and the Florida Air National Guard as a Jet Engine Mechanic. Before leaving active duty, Russ earned his FAA Air Frame and Powerplant license. After serving on active duty, Russ served as an educator in numerous school districts in the state of Georgia where he was a Teacher, Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Russ has a bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University, Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
