Pëllumb Kelmendi is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science at Auburn University. His research focuses on international security, ethnic conflict, international conflict resolution, EU integration, peacekeeping, and democratization in the Balkans. His current teaching assignments include introductory courses on international relations, as well as upper-level courses on European politics and international security. Prior to joining Auburn, Kelmendi was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan’s Weiser Center for Emerging Democracies. He received his PhD from Brown University.
