Pianist Minjung Seo is an active collaborative pianist, chamber musician, and soloist, currently serving as Senior Lecturer of Accompanying and Collaborative Piano at Auburn University. She maintains an active performance career through faculty recitals, chamber music collaborations, and performances with instrumentalists and vocalists.
Seo’s recent engagements include a 2025 guest recital at the University of Florida, supported by a Southeastern Conference (SEC) Grant, and a 2026 faculty recital with cellist Moisés Molina at the University of Alabama. She was recently appointed Principal Keyboard of the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, expanding her current work into professional orchestral performance.
Since 2023, Seo has been a member of Ensemble Amitié, a prestigious and sought-after piano ensemble dedicated to collaborative artistry and artistic exchange. She continues to perform with the ensemble and is scheduled to appear in concerts in July and December 2026.
Seo has performed extensively throughout the United States and internationally, with appearances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Columbia University, the Aspen Music Festival, the Seoul Arts Center, KBS Hall, and other distinguished venues. Her performances have been featured on WDAV, Tri-State Public Radio, and WIUW, and recorded for Navona Records.
A recipient of the Samuel Sanders Collaborative Pianists Award, Seo has participated in leading international festivals including the Bowdoin International Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, and the Aspen Music Festival and School. She holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, The Juilliard School, Indiana University, and Yonsei University, with full scholarships awarded for her doctoral and master's studies.
