Michael Stern joined the Department of Economics in 2004 after completing his PhD at Indiana University. He frequently teaches courses in mathematical economics and principles of macroeconomics. His research interests include industrial organization, game theory, growth theory, and finance. He has published papers in a variety of journals, including Economic Theory, the Journal of Industrial Economics, the Journal of Regulatory Economics, the Southern Economic Journal, Applied Financial Economics, and Economics Letters.
