Lukas Myers received his PhD in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2025. His work focuses on issues at the intersection of ethics, aesthetics, and political philosophy. He has a special interest in the philosophy of humor especially questions on the nature and value of humor as well as the role of humor in aesthetic communities. He has published on the philosophy and ethics of comedy as well as the literature on state funding for the arts.
