Lori Redding is a senior lecturer in the health services administration program, and coordinates its internship program. Prior to Redding joining the faculty in 2016, she began her professional career in healthcare after graduating from Auburn University in 1996 with a bachelor of science degree in healthcare administration. She holds a master's in healthcare administration from the University of St. Francis.
Redding’s experience in healthcare administration has spanned from acute care hospitals in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sector to ambulatory care and behavioral health. She has served in leadership and executive positions where she led administrative departments such as human resources management, risk management, quality assurance, compliance, medical credentialing, and operations. She is a former president of Alabama Council of Community Mental Health Board–Human Resources Council, vice-president of Kentucky Association of Healthcare Recruitment, and member of National Association of Healthcare Recruitment.
