About Me
Jessica Silvis is a lecturer of public speaking for the School of Communication and Journalism at Auburn University. She is a native of Columbus, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Columbus State University and her master’s degree in communication from Auburn University. Her interests lie in baking, video games studies and literature.
In her classes, she encourages student interaction to help build relationships and confidence in her students. Various activities and discussion are often implemented to aid students through concepts of public speaking.
