Heather Tracy is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. She enjoys working with graduate students who serve a variety of clients in the Auburn University Speech and Hearing Clinic and engaging in community outreach. Her special interests include autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, and early language development. She is certified to give the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and trained in DIR/Floortime, SCERTS, and LAMP.
Prior to joining the Auburn faculty, Heather was a speech-language pathologist at Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where she served pediatric populations and was part of the Autism Diagnostic Team. She holds American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification, State of Tennessee Department of Health and ABESPA licensure. Heather received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Mississippi.
