About Me

Erin Reynolds-Peacock is the Clinic Director for the Auburn University Speech and Hearing Clinic and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. She spent her first decade in the audiology profession working clinically in various settings such as ear, nose, and throat offices and hospitals in and around the Atlanta Metro area. Not long after her family relocated to Auburn in 2005, Erin was happy to be asked to teach undergraduate students who are eager to learn and succeed in our growing field. She is also the Coordinator of Off Campus Clinical Experiences for the Doctor of Audiology program, HIPAA Privacy Officer for the Auburn University Speech and Hearing Clinic and works with patients and students at the rural health clinic located in Chambers County Alabama. Her clinical and academic experiences have led her to look carefully at health disparities and inequity in our state and nation. She continues to seek answers to questions around individual human difference and how those topics intersect with healthcare.

When not at work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters at live music or theatre performances and visiting museums. The most fulfilling part of her work is witnessing students have clinical epiphanies while helping their patients communicate more easily.
