Ed Youngblood is a professor in the School of Communication and Journalism. His research includes work on website usability, electronic media history, and the adoption of electronic communication technologies. He has been involved in interactive media design since late 1994, has worked as an IT professional, and has experience conducting technology related focus groups. He began teaching courses in interactive media in 2001 and is active in BEA and AEJMC. Youngblood's wife, Susan, also teaches at Auburn and is an associate professor in the Department of English's Technical and Professional Communication program.
