Danilea Werner has worked both in the business and academic worlds. Before joining the faculty at Auburn University, she worked as the National Health Director for The OASIS Institute, and as an assistant clinical professor at St. Louis University. Werner has also worked in disaster preparedness, public health education and as a clinical therapist. Werner's research interests include health and wellness issues with older adults and adolescents, and mental health disaster preparedness. She served on the planning committee for the Empowering Young Women conference in St. Louis, MO, and continues her interest in female adolescent leadership and mentoring serving on the planning committee for the Young Women's Leaders Program through the Auburn University Women's Resource Center.
