Charles Lesh received his PhD in rhetoric and composition from Northeastern University in 2016. His research and teaching interests include public and community writing, critical spatial theory, genre, and ethnography. He is currently at work on a book project that ethnographically explores the ways graffiti writers in Boston make and unmake a variety of spaces throughout the city. His work has recently appeared or is forthcoming in College English, Community Literacy Journal, and Composition Studies.
