About Me
My research interests focus on politics and religion in Antebellum America. I have previously explored the political machinations behind secession in the Deep South.
My MA thesis, Behind the Cockade: Henry Lewis Benning, State's Rights Ideology, and Secession in Georgia, examined the political forces that resulted in Georgia's exit from the Union and the influential radicalism of Henry Lewis Benning.
