Camden Elliott hails from wild, wonderful West Virginia. He arrived at Auburn in the Fall of 2025 fresh off completing his PhD. He is an environmental historian of Native North America with particular interests in warfare and violence. His current book project, an expansion of his doctoral dissertation, interrogates the nearly hundred-year-long history of conflict between the Wabanaki Confederacy and British colonists in the early North American northeast.
