Ben Bryant is a retired air traffic controller (ATC) with the Federal Aviation Administration, bringing over 25 years of experience at the Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC). His expertise spans multiple components of the National Airspace System, reflecting a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the air traffic control field. He also served as the Military Operations Specialist for Atlanta ARTCC, where he coordinated military and civilian air traffic operations. In this role, he collaborated with the Department of Defense, federal law enforcement agencies, and members of the intelligence community to support classified aircraft movements and special operations. He additionally worked with the United States Secret Service to ensure the security of air transportation for the President of the United States (POTUS) and the First Family.
After 33 years of distinguished service, he retired from the Air National Guard at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. During his military career, Chief Bryant deployed on multiple Air Expeditionary Force rotations to the SOUTHCOM, Balkans, and the Middle East in support of Operations Joint Endeavour, Joint Guard, Joint Forge, Iraqi Freedom, Freedom’s Sentinel, and Inherent Resolve. Chief Bryant led air traffic control and combat airspace operations across various Areas of Responsibility (AORs), contributing to mission success in high-tempo, high-risk environments.
Chief Bryant’s career is marked by leadership, operational excellence, and a steadfast commitment to public service across both civilian and military aviation sectors.
