Auburn Eating Disorders Clinic

The Auburn Eating Disorders Clinic (AEDC) provides specialized, evidence-based treatment for children, teens and families facing eating disorders and is one of the only clinics in Alabama offering this level of care for young people. Since opening in 2022, families have traveled from across the region for help, and the clinic has maintained a waitlist due to high demand. Because AEDC does not accept insurance, donor support is essential to help fund clinicians-in-training and provide treatment scholarships. Tiger Giving Day gifts will ensure that more children and teens can receive life-changing care regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.

GOAL $10,000

Expand Clinical Services and Support for Autism in Alabama

The Auburn University Psychological Services Center (AUPSC) and the Center for Autism Research, Treatment, and Training (CARTT) provide comprehensive diagnostic and behavioral services for children with autism while training the next generation of clinicians. With limited providers and long waitlists across Alabama, many families face significant barriers to timely care. Tiger Giving Day support will help fund assessments, behavioral interventions, social skills groups and caregiver training while expanding telehealth services to reach rural communities. These gifts will also support graduate student training, ensuring more qualified providers are prepared to serve families across Alabama.

GOAL $15,000

Establish a permanent exhibit at the Delta Air Lines Aviation Education Building

The Auburn Family has the opportunity to preserve the legacy of a World War II Auburn aviation alumnus who served as a pilot on the “War Eagle” B-17 bomber. His leather bomber jacket, crush cap, mission journal and original pilot’s license tell a powerful story of courage, service and Auburn spirit. Tiger Giving Day gifts will support the professional preservation and permanent display of these artifacts in the Delta Air Lines Aviation Education Building. This exhibit will honor Auburn’s aviation heritage while inspiring future generations of aviators.
