How to Apply

Getting started is easy! To apply, you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (no GRE required!).
  • A completed online application, including a personal statement.
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities you’ve attended.
  • Three letters of recommendation.

If you’re applying for the Advanced Standing Program, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited institution.

Program Options

Choose the MSW program format that works best for you!

  • Online Program: A flexible, part-time, asynchronous option designed for working adults.
  • On-Campus Program: Available in both full-time and part-time formats for a more traditional experience.

Both options offer Traditional and Advanced Standing tracks, so you can find the right path for your goals.

In addition, you can enhance your degree with one of our certificate options: Health Equity Science, Veterinary Social Work, or Non-profit Organizations and Community Governance.

On-Campus Program:

  • Summer Cohort (Advanced Standing Only): Apply by February 1st
  • Fall Cohort:
    • Priority Deadline: March 1st
    • Regular Decision Deadline: May 1st

Online Program:

  • Fall Cohort: Apply by June 1st
