About Me

Robyn Bridges is president and CEO of Auburn-Opelika Tourism. She has served as a marketing and communications professional in the hospitality industry for 23 years.

Bridges’s work has been recognized by the Alabama Hospitality Association, the Southeast Tourism Society, the Public Relations Council of Alabama and the Southern Public Relations Federation from whom she has received several awards for graphic design and public relations writing.

She is active in a variety of statewide and regional hospitality and PR organizations and has served as both a state and local board member for the Public Relations Council of Alabama.

Bridges also has a heart for service and a passion for the Auburn-Opelika community. She currently serves as a planning commissioner for the city of Auburn, an executive board member for United Way of Lee County and is a past executive board member for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County.

She earned a double major in international marketing and French from the University of Alabama. She and her husband Mark (Auburn '86) have three children: Carlyn (Auburn '15), Samantha (Auburn '17) and Sam, Jr. (University of South Alabama's Class of 2021).
